Outdoor Activities

The Charleston Woodlands is a magical place, boasting breathtaking views over freshwater lakes, and groves of old growth oak trees. You’re going to flip when you see it first hand. In addition to an action packed music schedule, we urge you to take advantage of all that this venue has to offer. Bring a frisbee, bust out the corn hole, bring a soccer ball, but no lawn darts, please. There is NO better place to enjoy your lawn game of choice.

If being lazy is your favorite leisure activity, say no more. Our friends at Eagles Nest Outfitters will provide a plethora of hammock options for you to chillax.

We’ll offer fishing on Lake Autumn and Lake Charleston, stocked to the gills with bass, panfish, brim, and more. Charleston Woodlands provides kayak rentals to campers.

In addition, we encourage you to get out on the water! Here’s more…

The Woodlands Festival offers you the unique opportunity to get out on the pristine waters while you take in the sights and sounds of the festival. Featuring 11 freshwater lakes, a black water swamp, and an abundance of natural beauty, this 6,000 acre private nature reserve offers a variety of options for the outdoor enthusiast. Whether you like to Kayak, or you prefer to paddle board, we have you covered. We’ll offer Kayak & SUP rentals by the hour two lakes that are adjacent to the two main stages. All gear is provided, registration and waiver required, first come, on a first serve basis. 18 and over unless accompanied by a consenting adult. Get your rock & roll paddle on!
